So you know how there are all these continuing news reports about car bombs blowing up Iraqi police stations? It makes you wonder who the hell is in charge of security at these places. You know how to keep the stations from getting blown up? You keep the car bombs away. You know how to do that? Put concrete barriers (commonly refered to as Jersey Barriers) up at about a 50-meter perimeter around the stations. It's not as if concrete is a scarce resource in Iraq. The place is full of sand and concrete manufacturing is one of the biggest industries (other than oil) in the country. So put some barriers up and save some Iraqi policemen's lives.
